  • Spirit

Here I am at a party. I am a part. Presently, I am the first part to reach out to other parts. We may graduate, but learning is gradual and lifelong. We may seek power, but the ability to be truly vulnerable is wonderful. We are trained to compete but to cooperate is more loving and communal. Maturity is the ability to let go with integrity. Jealousy is selfishness; the First Commandment is an admitted weakness. The root of spirit is spir: a spiraling interconnection between a point, or individual, and the universe. It's connecting through physical breathing and emotional blending. It's connecting with nature and the natural self, a scene and a smile. There is no wish for anesthetics because to be open for the splendor of joy requires the lessons from enduring pain. Pain is a part of joy, an emotional ability, a part of the party. —Jé
