The English word, "religion," is from the contraction of the Italian/Latin words, "re + legione." It means the "king's legion," or "army." Legions are an assembly of patriots on the basis of legends that give patriarchs authority. The patriots have faith in their king, priest, pater, or pope, which all means father originally. Faith is the absence of fact. Faith is what is wished or hoped. Originally, the patriarchy promised to protect and provide. But first, they had to manipulate and control to take the natural attraction away from women. Eden was Eve's den. Women who met in Bacchanalias were called lunatics from the luna and monsters from the moon. Hel was the womb of Mother Earth, hence, the Hellas and Helen who was made responsible for the Trojan War. A witch was a woman with wit, a wise woman. —Jé Goolsby
