Reverend Maryum Morse’s Weekly Prayer:
Playfulness is a Vital Part of My Spiritual Practice
There is only One Creative Presence.  This Divine Presence lives, loves and expresses through me, as me.

Prayer and meditation are beneficial to my spiritual life, so is play.  Spending time in playful activity disengages my mind from outer life concerns so I am able to enjoy the present moment.  I create heaven on earth as I play and reconnect to my inner sweet child.

As I consciously engage childlike aspects of myself; I experience humility, playfulness, and more. I experience a release of stress and an increase in faith. Filling in coloring pages, hiking outside in nature, doing creative fun  projects, or singing songs are simple ways I may play in my adult life. In these moments I am aware of joy and the love of the Divine Presence expressing as me.  Playfulness is a Vital Part of My Spiritual Practice.

I am always thankful and always ready to embrace my connection with God.  I release my word to the Heart of God and allow my joy to expand.  It is done. And so it is.  Amen
Rev. Maryum Morse
