When I Forgive, I Am Centered in Peace

God is the Divine creator as I see the magnificence of the creative energy as it is manifested around me. I know I am One with this creative force and I am grateful knowing this truth.

Sometimes as I go through my life and I experience difficult people and painful situations that remind me to forgive.  The master teachers tell us that forgiveness is a practical spiritual guide.  When I hold onto attitudes of anger or hurt, I am weighing down my own consciousness and blocking the free flow of divine energy within and through me.  AS I choose to forgive, I dissolve the blockage within.  My choice for forgiveness will have a positive impact on those I forgive, whether or not they consciously recognize and accept it.  I am powerless over other’s choices and remind myself to say the Serenity prayer.  I am left with the opportunity to feel lighter and more loving in my heart as I forgive.

When I forgive others, I am centered in peace. I am thankful for this awareness and gratefully with an open heart and mind surrender these words to the Divine mind and release and let it go.  It is done.  And so it is. Amen
Rev. Maryum Karen Morse
