Rev. Maryum Morse gives the talk: "Finding Your Voice"
this Sunday, January 24, 2021 at 10:30am via ZOOM.

As Rev hosts this virtual Celebration Service, her talk will focus on:
How to distinguish your Holy voice from the din of your ego’s negativity. By doing this you place yourself into the flow of Spirit’s plan to reveal the highest and best within you – not only for yourself but the benefit of the world.

She will give examples from Ernest Holmes, other New Thought authors, as well as wisdom gained from her own life experiences to further illustrate this topic with the intention to uplift, inspire and bring your mental more in keeping with the Spiritual perfection that God intends for our lives.

Darrolyn Fennelly, RScP will be on virtual pulpit duty which includes running our Meditation Service @ 10am.

Eje Lynn-Jacobs & George Friedenthal provide live music to frame this service beautifully. We look forward to your presence with us on ZOOM and/or on livestreaming on Rev. Maryum’s Facebook!

World Peace is Not an Illusion

excerpt from one of Dr. Ernest Holmes’ unpublished works July 1955

So we want peace on Earth? Then let us pray for peace in our own hearts, let us affirm peace in our own minds. Let us live as though peace were the mandate of God because it is. Together let us affirm it and let us encourage others to, no matter what the opposition appears to be, for it is a fundamental reality of God. “Blessed are they that have not seen and yet have believed.”

Let us face the future without fear but let us all also face it intelligently as men and women who are not afraid of anything. There is nothing in the universe to be afraid of. Some things could be avoided. Let us realize if the world is healed of war and brought into peace it won’t have been because guns were bigger and better or more of them. We need them until it does heal itself, but that will come to pass only because somewhere along the line the balance of the scales of eternal truth shall fall on the side of peace.

Let us, you and me, pray for peace and let us make our hearts fit to accept it when it comes. Let us make our intellect and our soul and our will and are feeling ready to receive it and embrace it even before it comes. Let us in the stillness of our own soul go back to that ineffable Presence which is Peace and proclaim It even in the midst of confusion, that Peace which is the Power at the heart of God. And so it is. Amen.

God Is Speaking

Can you hear God speaking?
He’s talking to you now.
If you don’t it’s because you’re not listening
Or you don’t understand how.
The whisper of the wind,
The rustle of the breeze blown leaves,
The patter of the rain,
His voice is all of these.
The smile of a stranger,
The sunshine in the morn,
It’s the twinkle of the stars above
As another babe is born.
The Lord’s language is simplicity,
Not made of nouns and verbs.
It’s in the blooming of rose,
It’s in the growing of the herbs.
His words are in this beauty,
Seen only by the wise.
It’s what we take the time to view,
And what we will recognize.
Our Creator gave us everything,
We need not ask for more.
Give him thanks for what we have,
Give him thanks for what’s in store.
